Lawn Care & Yard Maintenance in Richfield, UT

Our residential full-service lawn care & landscape maintenance package is the only service you need for your yard. It’s comprehensive, and that’s what sets us apart from our competitors. You do not have to request, schedule, track, or even worry about individual aspects of the service as they take place during our regular visits serving the Richfield, Salina, and Sevier County, Utah areas.

During spring, summer, and fall, our regular visits occur every week, even though the service being completed may vary by week. The best yard and lawn care does not take place at a predetermined date, but when the weather and yard necessitate.

Seasonal Lawn Care & Landscaping Services

This is especially true for lawn care & landscaping services that take place in spring and fall. As such, we will use our professional discretion each week to determine what services need to be addressed. Through this process, we can assure you that all lawn care & landscaping services described below will be maintained in the most effective and efficient way, designed for lawns in the Richfield, UT area.

The cost of each visit is a flat rate that is the quoted price when a bid is requested and the “Visit Price” listed on the contract. Each visit is billed separately, and not as a monthly rate.

Lawn Mowing

Every week, your lawn will be mowed, straight edged, and string trimmed. The grass will be mulched whenever possible and bagged when it is too wet or too long to mulch. All concrete will be blown off and all landscaped beds will be checked for weeds and debris. This lawn care service will occur during our regular visits.

For existing clients, this service will occur during one of our first regular visits in the spring.

New Lawn Care Clients
After signing the contract, regardless of the time of year, a crew will visit your property to make sure all bushes, tree shoots, and low branches are trimmed and cleaned up. Weeds will be pulled and/or sprayed. Trash, leaves, and debris will be cleaned up. The grass will be trimmed and edged so the property is ready for weekly landscaping maintenance.

Spring Green-up

In early spring, a crew will visit your Richfield, UT area property to aerate, power rake, and fertilize your lawn, in that order. Lawn aeration removes plugs of soil. Power raking removes thatch (not the brown dormant grass on the surface, but the organic material above the roots) and breaks up most of the aeration plugs.

Following aeration and power raking, our proprietary fertilizer is applied. It is a granular application and immediate watering is not required. This lawn care service is crucial to the yearlong health of your lawn as it allows nutrients and water access to the roots when nutrients are most needed. It also provides room for root growth. This residential landscaping service will occur during one of our first regular visits in the spring.

Pre-Emergent Bed Spray

In the spring, all non-turf landscaped areas will be sprayed with a pre-emergent chemical. This is not a weed killer. It impedes new seeds from growing, so weeds do not begin to grow. This yard care service will occur during one of our regular visits in the spring.

Sprinkler System Start-up & Inspection

When the weather allows, we will turn your water on in the spring and inspect your sprinkler system. If needed, minor repairs will be made, and parts and labor will be charged additionally. Due to liability and only being on-site of your Richfield area property once per week, we do not control sprinkler timers nor give watering programs. However, we will provide suggestions if we see too much or too little watering.

For proper lawn care, grass must be watered sufficiently to be healthy and green. Additionally, the grass cannot be watered within 24 hours prior to mowing. This service will occur during one of our regular services, if possible. If not possible, there will be no additional charge. Repairs will be billed separately, as mentioned.

Bush Trimming

Twice a year, in late summer and during winter dormancy, your bushes, shrubs, plants, small trees, etc. will be trimmed and cleaned up. This yard care service in late summer will occur during one of our regular visits. The yard maintenance service during winter dormancy will take place sometime between December and March; the cost will be due when the service occurs and is your regular visit price.

Lawn Fertilizers

Four times a year, your lawn will be fertilized. We have engineered our fertilizer recipes for soil and grass in the Richfield and Salina area, and do not use store-bought fertilizers. The first is a granular application that is part of the Spring Green-Up service. The second application is a liquid application that is sprayed during late spring/early summer. The third is a mid-summer granular application and the fourth is a late-fall granular application.

The program is designed to give your lawn the nutrients it needs during key times of the year. All lawn Everything Exterior care fertilizer treatments are applied during regular visits.

Sprinkler System Winterization

At the beginning of winter, as temperatures dictate, we will shut down sprinklers. For a healthy lawn the following year, the grass should go into dormancy due to cold temperatures, not from lack of water. Turning off the water too early can be detrimental to the overall health of the lawn. This lawn care service will occur during one of our regular visits, if possible. If not possible, there will be no additional charge.

Lawn & Yard Winterization

At the beginning of winter, when the grass is done growing and leaves have fallen, we will visit the property one last time to make sure it is ready for winter. (Some years, snow falls before all leaves have completely fallen from trees.) Grass will be mowed ¼” – ½” shorter than usual to prevent against snow mold, fungus, and other disease as well as trimmed and edged one last time so that it looks sharp through the winter. This lawn care service will be our final visit of the season.
